DUBAI – Unsettled weather conditions are expected to persist across the UAE into the weekend, with rain, strong winds and rough seas forecast before a gradual improvement from Sunday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

Saturday outlook

Saturday is forecast to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with rainfall possible over coastal, northern and eastern regions. Winds are expected to reach speeds of up to 50 km/h, while sea conditions will remain rough in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Sunday forecast

By Sunday, skies are expected to be partly cloudy, with low clouds forming over islands and western areas. There remains a chance of rainfall, though conditions are forecast to gradually stabilise. Winds will ease to between 10 and 35 km/h, and seas will range from rough to moderate.

Early week conditions

From Monday onwards, the NCM expects partly cloudy skies with increasing humidity at night and during early mornings, particularly in western internal areas. Winds will be light to moderate, and sea conditions are forecast to improve further.

Residents are advised to continue monitoring official weather alerts and exercise caution, particularly in flood-prone areas and during periods of reduced visibility.
